The Jesus Creed

This was inspired by the sermons of my head pastor that he had been doing for quite some time. That and I wanted to do a pic with the Jesus fish as well lol. But anyways, he taught about what he called "The Jesus Creed" Basically it was the two greatest commandments that was told to us by Jesus: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, and soul. And love others as you love yourself." What he is saying is three things, to love God completely without hesitation, and to love others and yourself. Not so much to love yourself as in be vien, but to love your life because it is a gift from God.

It's a simple concept but hard to do. Loving others is difficult because not everyone out there wants to be your friend and they might do things to you that hurt you. But even so, we can still love them and be concerned about them. Does this mean we let them walk all over us? No, it means even if they do us wrong, and then need our help with something, we won't let what they did wrong to us, prevent us from helping them.

Loving yourself can also be difficult if you don't like who you are or the talents you have. Never forget that you are a special person, only one like you and that no matter what you can or can't do, God will always love you.

As for loving God with your mind, soul, and heart. It can seem easy but the devil will constently try to make you question yourself and your belifes, keep strong in your faith and kick that Devil out on his rear! God will always love us, so we should always love him.
